10.5 Months

So, I keep thinking of things that I didn't include in the last post that Victor is doing, but when I come to sit and type, Nothin'.

Yesterday though we had a great moment. I was reading Victor one of his books and part of it asks, "How big is baby?" and the little kids pictured have their hands over their heads and it says "So Big!" Well, for the first time when I asked the question, he automatically put his hands over his head like the babies in the pictures! Oh, the beautifully simple things we celebrate as parents! :o) Then the next page says "Patty Cake - Clap Hands" and he did that too! Go Victor!

Did I tell you that he's been letting go of surfaces and standing on his own for many seconds? That started maybe a week or so ago. He talks a lot and loves giving anyone who will accept it a book - to read to him, of course. :o) If you won't, he'll read it to himself with all sorts of fun little sounds.

His tiny little feet aren't so tiny and his little fingers are getting SO good and grabbing things (usually that go straight to his mouth). He loves to feed himself and often times feels like we're getting close to the end of pureed foods. We got a little box of Goldfish and Victor really likes them - much more than Cheerios. Today he fell in love with blueberries, so hopefully that's a baby-safe food. Let me check... well, not only is giving Victor blueberries OK, but it's chock-full of all sorts of goodness, so bring on the blueberries!

Did I tell you we're in Ft Lauderdale for the 4th of July weekend? Fun times visiting some of Isaac's family. :o) Oh, before I forget, we're going to have Victor's 1st Birthday party on Sunday, August 24th! Save the Date!!!! If you're from out-of-town, come in town ;o) Haha... jk... although we'd love to see you. Some have been asking about what he needs/wants for his birthday, I'll have a talk with him and post it for those who are interested.

Well, that's all for right now... I'll be updating soon for his 11month!! :-O I'll leave you with this:
