Some fun connecting times...

In case you haven't noticed, ivwed.com is not working. We're going to keep ivwed.blogspot.com working, but the other we're not sure of because the crazy yahoo wanted to charge us way too much for the domain... "no thank you!"

Below are just a couple of pictures from the past couple of weeks... the first, a Super Dap between Noe (my pseudo-niece), Nylda (Tito's sister), and Victor! Noe and Victor are ridiculously cute when they get together - all fun and smiles... unless there is only one Elmo and then it's all over but the cryin.

Mama had a fabulous time hanging out with friends from High School, back in town! We even had a chill in the air for the occasion :o)

Grandpa Martinez came to visit for a couple of days... Victor adapted the nickname "lolo" for a little bit, but I don't know if it will stick.

These are Victor's favorite videos right now...

He has been changing a lot in the last week or two... it's like he changes in spurts! He's really picking up the language learning, so that's been fun to watch. Some of his words....
"Coco" is Cookie Monster, "Ehmo" is elmo, "aua" is water/agua... he knows Ernie from Sesame Street too... makes the sounds of a horse, cow, sheep, duck, dog, cat, tiger, bear, elephant, monkey.... whenever you ask him "Victor, how old are you?" he used to say "two" but the last couple of days he's been saying either "fee" (his three) or "fie" (his five), so he's a bit confused about the age thing to say the least ;o)

He still loves to read books, play with neighbors' dogs, eat almost anything. A couple of his newer words are "turtle" "apple" and "kercle" (circle). He tries to dress and undress himself, usually unsuccessfully :o)

Funny story:
Probably about a month ago, Isaac and I were in the dining room and noticed that Victor was playing Very (too) quietly in the living room. Isaac went to check it out and caught Victor drawing on his hand with a pen. Victor looked up, saw Isaac, dropped the pen, looked at his drawn-upon hand and said, "Oh, Nooo!"

There's tons more to share, but I'm sleeeeepy. More to come hopefully sooner than later... :o)
