Play Date at the Park (14 months old today)

Addison and Victor had a play date at the park near our neighborhood... they loved it! They went on swings, a see-saw (or teeter totter, depending on where you're from), and slides. We weren't sure how they would react to the swings, but as soon as we put them on they started laughing... it was really cute. Here they are swinging...
Addison, 10 months

Victor, 14 months

I just realized they both have their tongues sticking out... silly kids. Here's a shot from the top of the double slide. Victor figured out how to scoot himself down very quickly and he wanted more... Addison wasn't quite as sure! You can see his teeth good in this shot - he has 6.

On to new things (at least the ones I can remember)...
  • "neigh" for what the horse says, "ah, ah" for the monkey
  • he can point out nose, ears, mouth and blinks for eyes (i should try to get video, it's cute)
  • "bobo" for pacifier
  • he pinches his tongue for "cat" (i don't know why)
  • he tries to imitate the sign for sleep and has actually used it to tell us he's tired! It's great because we just lay him down and he goes to sleep... finally :o)
  • he says "no" and shakes his head when to give him something he doesn't want, but he does it funny, so it's really hard not to laugh - even when we shouldn't
I think that's all :o) I think Isaac might be giving Victor a haircut this weekend... wish him luck!
